April 7, 2006 – April 23, 2023

Zyion LaShawn “Ziggy” Morse was born April 7, 2006 to Ahjahne Blizzard and Derrick Taylor. He attended Hopewell High School and just landed his first job at a pizza place in Hopewell.
Ziggy was known for being the calm-quiet one out of the bunch. He had a love for designer shoes and clothes. Ziggy also had a love for playing video games, face timing his friends and spending time with the family.
Zyion had dreams of becoming a mechanic as well as tinting windows following in the footsteps of his late uncle Raekwon.
As quiet as Zyion was his presence was known when he stepped into the room. We will forever miss his smile, the way he talked, his dance moves and his laugh.
Rest on my YOUNG KING, until we meet again. Zyion is now reunited with his uncle, Raekwon Givens; great grandmother, Mildred Blizzard; great-great aunt, Mildred Jackson; cousins, Samuel Jackson and Antonio Spain and his best friend, Amir Brown and friend, Cortaz Cheatham.
Zyion leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Ahjahne Blizzard of Hopewell; father, Derrick Taylor (Patrice) of Hopewell; step-father, Christopher Morse of Hopewell; devoted godmother, Quintesia Postell (Devon) of Hopewell; one brother, Nyvonté Coleman of Hopewell; godbrother, Noah Thomas-Postell; one sister, De’asiah Taylor of Hopewell; god-sister, Nova Postell; grandmother, Jewel Blizzard (devoted), Cheryl Taylor and Carolyn Holloway all of Hopewell; great grandmother, Bertha Blizzard of Hopewell; grandfather, Norman Givens of Norfolk; aunts, Jalissa Taylor and Andrea Carter (Bennie) both of Hopewell; uncles, Anthony Tyler, Aaron Tyler, Carlos Taylor and Kareem Morse all of Hopewell; great uncles, Xavier Blizzard of Hopewell; devoted cousins, Sade Blizzard-Grant, Jayire Blizzard, JaQuan Jackson and Kizzayah Easter; devoted friends, Qemari Kelly, Tymein Thomas, Xavier Taylor, and “The Guys and The Girls”; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends too numerous to name.
