January 12, 1965 – August 17, 2023

On Thursday,  August 17, 2023, Solomon Andre Tate entered eternal rest peacefully in his sleep.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Tate; his eldest sister Starletta Tate and his loving mother, Gertrude E.Tate. 

Solomon is survived by one son, Andre Walker; siblings, Stephanie Tate and Sharon Graham; brother-in-law, Renardo Graham; neices and nephews, Shanitha, Nysheda (Jovan), Charnise, Briana, Wayne, Shelton, and Veasean and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA,  Andre Walker, eulogist.
