Early Wednesday morning, May 4, 2022, God, in His infinite wisdom, called our loved one, Trae Donovan Cooper. He was born on January 23, 1987, to Donald Jr. and Suzanne Cooper in Los Angeles, California. He was baptized at an early age at Brown Grove Baptist Church, Chesterfield.

He attended Chesterfield County Public Schools where he played little league football at Crenshaw Elementary School then headed to Manchester High where he played as a proud Lancer and graduating with the Class of 2005. Go Lancers!!! Following high school Trae attended Christopher Newport University and earned his Political Science Degree Cum Laude and went on to receive his Master’s in Business Management at Salem International University.

As the world knew and shall never forget that Trae bled silver and blue, he stood by his team and may we all say it loud and say it proud, DALLAS COWBOYS! Another team you could never debate him about is UNC. Sports was something he lived for, and he watched front and center every single season.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Cooper Sr. and his grandparents, Elbert Sr. and Marie L. Turner.

Trae is survived by his loving father and mother, Donald Jr. and Suzanne Cooper; his grandmother, Shirley Cooper; step grandmother, Zenayda Cooper; two sisters, Tiffany Cooper (Mario) and Sierra Cooper (Travis); five brothers, Philip Dawkins, Christopher Dawkins, Arron Dawkins (Crystal), Erwin Dawkins Jr., and Mark Dawkins; two nieces, Ja’Niya Powell and Te’Lani Johnson; two nephews, Kristian Powell and Zah’Kiy Sykes; six uncles, Jeffery Cooper, Craig Cooper (Melissa), Steve Turner ( Earlene), Elbert Tuner Jr. (Virginia), Tony Turner and Adam Turner; nine aunts, Wanda Robinson (William), Denine Cooper, Maretha Mosby, Everlene Jones (James), Joyce Lewis, Geneva Giles (James), Dale Turner, Daisy Duncan and Brenda Marable; godparents, B.B. and Donna Clarke; god siblings, Shane and Shanice Clarke; goddaughter, Nai Coleman; honorable cousin, LaTasha Burwell; devoted friends, Richard Thornhill, Marcus Wimbush, Melvin Brown, Detore Brown and Andre Hester; with an abundance of cousins, family, friends, and associates.
