October 30, 1951 – April 15, 2023

Sylvia Ann Hall, 71, of 46 Colonial Court, Colonial Heights, VA, departed this life on April 15, 2023, at VCU/MCV Medical Center, Richmond, VA. 

Sylvia Ann as she was affectionately known was born in Beckley, West Virginia, on October 30, 1951, to the late Myrtle and Richard L. Hall.  She attended Hopewell High School.

She was employed for many years at PreCon, Inc. in Chester, VA, where she met her beloved Otis. Sylvia Ann loved to play softball, spades and watch her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers.  She also loved watching the New York Yankees. 

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Martha Louise Hall, Elizabeth “Kathy” Dennis, and Linda Carr; and her brother, Richard A. Hall, Sr.

Sylvia Ann leaves to cherish her memories, her lifelong companion, Otis Jackson; sisters, Phyllis Hall of Prince George, VA, Judith Adkins of Mechanicsville, VA, Janice Farnam of Seminole, FL, Madonna Bryant of Colonial Heights, VA, Peggy Silva of Mechanicsville, VA, and Ramona Messer of Newnan, GA; brothers, Ronald Hall and Randall Hall both of Colonial Heights, VA; devoted friends, Vickie Jackson and Celeste Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held 5:00 P.M., Saturday, May 20, 2023 in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishemnt, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, Pastor Carlos Jordan, officiating.
