Shannita Monique Marshall, 29, affectionately known as “Nitaboo”, of 4321 Montclair Road, Henrico, VA, departed this life on July 31, 2023 at her residence.  She was born on January 9, 1994 in Hopewell, VA, to Christine Fisher Marshall and Steven M. Marshall.

She attended Henrico High School. Shannita was a self-employed housekeeper and she enjoyed drawing, writing poetry, painting and braiding hair.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Christine and Preston Fisher.

Shannita is survived by her husband, Arthur Holmes; children, Anthony Holmes and Malaysia Holmes; parents, Christine Fisher Marshall and Steven M. Marshall; two sisters, Lakeisha Fisher and Shakeila Marshall; brothers, Dwayne Fisher, Steven Marshall, Jr., Kaiden Marshall and Billy Perry; aunts, Priscilla Fisher and Ernestine Graham; uncles, Alvin Graham and Anthony Harris; nieces, Shamiyah Perry, Adreanah Perry and Johanna Fisher; nephews, Billy Perry, Jr., Samir Marshall, Zykee Perry, King Marshall, Johnathan Fisher, Jr. and Zyier Marshall; devoted friends, Ebony Coleman and Charlene Frooks; and a host of great uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, August 8, 2023, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA.
