June 7, 1941  –  May 24, 2023

Mrs. Rossalee Hilton,  of Colonial Heights departed her life Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

Rossalee was born June 7, 1941 in Disputanta, Virginia to the late David and Florine Wyche.  She was a graduate of JEJ Moore High School and was a Nurse’s Aid for many years before retiring.

She was a member of Crystal Cathedral in North Prince George County, VA  and was a Sunday School teacher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Frank Hilton; former husband, Charlie Isaac Thomas; son Cory Isaac Thomas; brothers, Carl Wyche, David Wyche Jr. and Richard Wyche; niece, Linda Wyche; and aunt, Edna Gregory.

Left to cherish her memories are: her loving daughter, Sandra Gordon (Frederick); daughter, Betty Ann Monroe; grandsons, Travis Gordon (Valerie) and Brian Gordon; three great grandchildren; cousins, Thomas Gregory (Tonya)(Monet), devoted, Jacob Gregory (Linda), Ethel Gregory, Diane Wyche and Pastor Michael Wyche (Monet); four nieces among them devoted, Linda Wyche; six nephews; two sisters-in law, Inez Thomas and Carolina Thomas; and many friends among them special and devoted friends, Debra Hinton and Diane Crowder.

A Celebration of  Life will be held at 11am, Tuesday, May 30th, 2023 at the chapel of Bland Funeral Home, 137 Harrison Street, Petersburg, VA.  Interment will follow in Dinwiddie Memorial Park, Dinwiddie.  Public visitation will be held 10am-7pm, Monday, May 29th at the funeral home.
