September 4, 1963 – July 19, 2023

Robin R. Parham, age 59, of Petersburg, Virginia entered eternal rest on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Bon Secours Southside Medical Center in Petersburg, Virginia.

She was born on September 4, 1963 to Dorothy Gates Herndon and the late William Dennis Herndon.

Robin was a proud member of the Petersburg High School Class of 1981. She enjoyed attending Empowerment Temple Ministries in Waverly, Virginia.

Up until her passing, she worked at Fairfield Inn in Chester, VA. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping and hanging out with her mother, Dorothy.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Dennis Herndon and her older sister, Rochelle Parham.

Robin leaves to mourn her husband, James C. Parham; two sons, Tejuan C. Parham and James Parham, Jr. and her one daughter, Shauntea N. Parham. Robin also leaves behind two sisters, Victoria “Vicky” Stewart, and Sheila “Tootie” Mercer; one brother, Troy D. “Pete” Mercer; six grandchildren, Janiyaah Parham, Jayden Hayman, Justin Hayman, Javien Parham, Jayshon Parham and James Michael Parham; two aunts, Shirley Irving and Charlene Edmunds; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, co-workers and friends.

At the request of the family, services for Mrs. Parham will be private.
