Mr. Robert Wayne Cox

February 8, 1991 – March 2, 2022

Robert Cox, age 31 passed away unexpectedly in his home on March 2, 2022. He left us way too soon. He is survived by his mother Mrs.Debbie Cox (who loved him dearly) his sisters Mrs. Becky Short (Steve) and Audra Cox, his two nephews Michael and Kaleb Todd, two nieces Kaylee and Serenity Short, and his grandmother Virginia Hall. Robert had a special bond with his uncle Ricky, they loved racing and working on cars together. Robert had many uncles, aunts, and cousins but is proceeded in death by his father Thomas Cox.
Rob had a huge passion for cars. He used to love Wednesday nights at Langley Speedway for Wacky Wednesday where he won many races. His other love was for animals, especially cats. Anywhere he was and saw an animal he didn’t care about anything else. He loved his two cats, Callie and Kira. Rob also had a special person in his life who will always be the love of his life and she also impacted his heart; Kendra Lohenitz.
Rob’s heart was huge and his smile was even brighter. He loved to joke and boy would he keep going with it. Rob had a different but special kind of bond with his friends and was loved by so many. One of his favorite places to hang out was Hoss’s Deli. His nickname to most was “Robjob”. In his younger days, he was into BMX and Xbox with his screen name being KArisma. His smile and laughter will be missed and never forgotten.
His memorial service was held at Langley Speedway on Friday, March 18th at 4:30 PM.
