Heaven opened its doors for Lois Christopher Sullivan, 78, of Sutherland, Virginia, on Sunday, January 22, 2023. Born on April 19, 1944, in Ford, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late John Albert and Virginia Williams Christopher. She is also preceded in death by her husband, David Earl Sullivan, whom she cared for; and her brother, John “J.C.” Christopher. Lois enjoyed Nascar races, was an avid Bingo player, and loved her cat, Moot-Moot. She is survived by her daughter, Donna Lois Sullivan Traylor; granddaughter, Neveah Traylor; niece, Kim Rose; and a grand-niece, Lori Lewis.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30p.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023, in Blandford Cemetery, 319 S. Crater Road Petersburg, Virginia 23803. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory, 2033 Boulevard Colonial Heights, Virginia 23834.
