Mr. Lloyd E. Gee

January 3, 1956 – April 28, 2022

The Lord in his infinite wisdom called our beloved, Lloyd Gee, into eternal rest on the morning of April 28, 2022. Lloyd Gee was born in Petersburg on January 3, 1956 to the late William and Mary Frances Gee. He was educated in the Petersburg school system.

He began working for Fort Lee Lodging at the age of 19 as a ground worker. He held many positions, including supervisor, before retiring after 34 years of service.

One of his many passions was bowling. He was known as one of the best lefties in the area. If he wasn’t in the bowling alley, then you could find him singing tenor with his brothers, A Touch of Charm, or trying to find a boat to get on to go fishing.

Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents: William and Mary Frances Gee; his brothers, Eddie and William Gee; and devoted cousin, Darcel Battle.

Lloyd is survived by his wife: Vickie Gee; his children, Valeeshia Gee, Latoya Allen (Terrell), Anthony Gee (Danae), and Jeannine McNeal; a host of grandchildren, aunts, uncles, cousins and a devoted cousin, Angela Vaughan (James).
