Leah Ruth “Meme” Nolan, 5, of South Chesterfield, Virginia, went home with the Lord on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, “ because her house is finished,” her brother Liam said. She was born on April 7, 2017, in Richmond, Virginia, to her parents, Andrew and Anna Nolan.
Leah attended The Sanctuary of Colonial Heights and was a student at Kenston Forest School in Blackstone. She was also a member of Genesis Children’s Ministry.
She is survived by her loving dad and mom, Andrew M. Nolan and Anna A. Nolan; her brother, Liam Q. Nolan; paternal grandparents, Michael Nolan, Julia and Dave Hufstedler; maternal grandmother, Maria Buda; her church family, numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00p.m. on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Matoaca Christian Fellowship, 7700 River Road S. Chesterfield, Virginia 23803. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the funeral from 2:00p.m. to 4:00p.m. at the church. A committal will take place at 12 noon on Monday, March 13, 2023, in Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Road Chester, Virginia 23831. Arrangements are being handled by the Colonial Heights Chapel of the E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes & Crematory.
