December 2, 1968 – July 27, 2023

Karen Graham-Walker was born on December 2, 1968 to the late Dansville Graham and Mary L. Jones. Karen started her education at Amityville Public Schools. She graduated from Amityville Memorial High School in 1987. She then proceeded to further her education in the nursing field at Pittsburgh Technical College, graduating class of 1991.

Karen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her life was so fulfilling, with so many twists and turns, that trying to summarize everything she experienced and embodied may not do her life enough justice. She was the kind of person who followed her own convictions and didn’t let the opinions of others hold her back. One of her greatest achievements was finally learning how to love and celebrate the people in her life.

Although she is gone from her earthly body, she will always be remembered by: her husband, Deacon Gustino Walker; her two children, Daniel Graham and SaCora James (Wesley); six grandchildren, Jamonte Graham, Arionah Williams, Josiah Graham, Alani Graham-Boyd, King Graham, and Khloe Graham; five siblings, LaShawn Graham (Sharon), Dana Graham, Margaret Graham, Alexis Graham, and Daniel Graham (Elizabeth); and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Morning Star Baptist Church, 1660 Dupuy Road, Petersburg, VA.
