Jean Nett Sokol, 85, of Colonial Heights, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023. Born in Matoaca, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Emma Johnson Cox.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Linwood Alexander Sokol Sr. son, Linwood Alexander Sokol Jr., and daughter, Vickie Parkman. Jean was a homemaker, she loved to raise children, from her own children to their children, and their children as well, she loved and nurtured them, and watched them grow. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Kaiser (Danny), and Lisa Harless (Tony); grandchildren, Buck (Cheyanne), Michael, Jennifer (Hunter), and Lindsay (Cody); great-grandchildren, Aubree, Garrett, and Oren; and two brothers, Charles Cox, and Phillip Cox (Debbie).  A memorial visitation will be held Monday, July 31, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
