July 8, 1989 – June 18, 2023

Donyell R. Watson, affectionately known as “Don-Don”, was born July 8, 1989, in Petersburg, VA to Charles Hill and the late Diana King. He departed this life on June 18, 2023, at Sentara Leigh Hospital, Norfolk, VA.

Donyell graduated from Petersburg High School in 2007. After graduating, he became employed at McDonalds. He also completed an internship at Central State Hospital. In his spare time, Don-Don enjoyed admiring art and walking dogs.

Donyell leaves to cherish his memories: his children, Chavis and Za’Cion Watson (children’s mother Jasmine Kates); devoted sisters, Shawneea King and Valda Watson; devoted brother, Dayshawn Watson; devoted nephews, Jayshawn Watson, Kirdae Johnson and Savion Johnson; father, Charles Hill of Chesterfield, VA; stepbrothers; stepsisters; step-nieces; step-nephews; devoted aunt, Antoinett Yvette King; devoted uncles, Aubrey L. King and Ricky R. King; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M., Monday, July 10, 2023, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Edward L. Fox III, eulogist.
