David Nunez Nunez, 73, of Petersburg, VA, died on Sunday, July 16, 2023. Born in Manati, Puerto Rico. Raised in Chicago, IL. Drafted into the Army in 1971. He was the son of the late Ramon and Cruz Nunez. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gladys; his son, David Jr. and his wife, Mercedes, son Daniel, and son Melvin; daughter, Laika and her husband, John, son, Dave, son, Omar and his wife, Tatjana; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his loving brother, Junior; sister, Nerry; and sister, Cruz.

The family will receive family and friends for the viewing from 6-8 pm, on Friday, July 21, 2023, at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held at J.T. Morris on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 11 am, followed by the internment at 12:30 pm, at Bermuda Memorial Cemetery in Chester.
