October 16, 1952 – May 10, 2023

Celestine Virginia Boisseau, affectionately known as “Singerboo”, 70, of Dinwiddie, VA, entered eternal rest on May 10, 2023. Celestine was born on October 16, 1952, to the late Martha Gholson Boisseau and Walter Boisseau.
She was educated in the Dinwiddie County School System. She was employed at Standard Motors in Disputanta, VA, where she retired with over fifteen years of service.
Celestine loved gardening raising her farm animals and going to Native American pow wows. She was also a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Herbert Boisseau; sister, Mary Robertson; and sister-in-law, Shelia Graves.
Celestine leaves to cherish her precious memories: her brother, Franklin Boisseau of Dinwiddie; sisters, Sandra Williams of Petersburg, and Casondra Lee of Hopewell, and Bernice Thorpe of Prince George; devoted niece and caregiver, Lanesha Graves; aunt, Rosa Matthews; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 20, 2023, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA, the Rev. Diane White, eulogist. The interment to follow at the Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
