August 24, 1974 – July 20, 2023

Brian Keith Edwards, 48, of Chesterfield, VA, went to his heavenly home on July 20, 2023.  Brian was born at Petersburg General Hospital (Bon Secours Southside Medical Center), Petersburg, VA, on August 24, 1974.

Brian leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Cheryl Christina Berra; his best friend and grandson, Mehdi Boukheir; daughters, Devin Edwards, Sierra Edwards, Alicia Chiarky; sons, Brian Keith Edwards, Jr. and Michael; brother, Robert Tomlin (Missy); sisters, Dawn Vaughn (Kelly), Marita Berra, and Crystal Jordan; nephews, Tyler Wilkins (Amanda), Blake Tomlin (Amber), Mark Adkins, Daniel Berra and Michael Berra. Brian also leaves his special friend and lifelong battling partner, Bridget Aboulhosn; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Brian was a comedian at heart, he loved fishing, listening to music and working out. But his passion was drawing and painting.  He enjoyed every moment he had with his drop-test partner, Mehdi.

Before Brian’s untimely death, he found God and started his spiritual journey. The family was very proud of Brian throughout all his struggles and circumstances. Brian will be truly missed by his family and friends. We say, “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later!”

Services will be held 5:00 P.M., Saturday, July 29, 2023, in the Chapel of J. M. Wilkerson Funeral Establishment, Inc., 102 South Avenue, Petersburg, VA.
