Embezzlement and Fraud

This week, the Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to locate the suspect in an embezzlement and fraud case.

On Oct. 17, 2022, police responded to a report of an embezzlement and fraud. The suspect, identified as Ayisha Echevarria, worked at Greater Unity Adult Services in Chesterfield County.  While employed, Echevarria would regularly take a client to cash their work checks on payday.  Echevarria would then give the client a small portion of their checks and keep the rest for herself.  She is suspected of embezzling over $5,000 from a client at this facility. Echevarria is currently wanted for embezzlement, credit card fraud and exploitation of a mentally incapacitated individual.
