



This week, the Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to solve a homicide that occurred in Chesterfield County on May 11, 2013.
Just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2013, officers responded to the 5300 block of Pembroke Street for a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found a young male in the middle of Pembroke Street suffering from a single gunshot wound. Officers identified the victim as 19-year-old Matthew Warren McDaniel of the 2800 block of Brampton Way. Matthew was pronounced dead at the scene.
