This week, the Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to solve a crime involving vandalism to school buses.

On March 27, 2023, it was discovered that multiple Chesterfield County Public School (CCPS) buses parked at 10201 Courthouse Road in Chesterfield County had been vandalized. It is believed the damage occurred between Friday, March 24, around 5 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Monday, March 27. The buses had several thousands of dollars’ worth of damage and made them inoperable. Approximately one week later, more CCPS school buses were vandalized in a similar fashion with thousands more dollars in damages. Chesterfield County Police continue to investigate these incidents for any suspect leads.
