Deaconess Doris W. Jackson was called to her heavenly home on May 8, 2023.

She is survived by her loving sister, Joyce W. Scott (Petersburg, VA); one son, one daughter, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host family and friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Greater First Baptist Church, 2701 13th St. NW, Washington, DC 20009. Interment will be at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at the church.
