On Jan. 20, 2023, at approximately 2 p.m., a wallet was stolen from a victim at the Sam’s Club in Colonial Heights. Two suspects, described as a white male and female, distracted the victim and took her wallet from her purse. Shortly after taking the victim’s wallet, the suspects went to Walmart and attempted three transactions. The first two, which were successful, totaled over $1,000 combined and the last purchase attempt, which was unsuccessful, was for over $6,900.
