On April 26,2023, Catherine Anne Slaughter of Dinwiddie, Virginia, departed this life after a long and hard-fought battle with cancer. She was a Registered Nurse for over 50 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Keith Monroe Slaughter of Dinwiddie. Also surviving her are several family members and friends; John and Missy Strano, son and daughter in law of Columbia, SC; Dawn and Daniel Strano, granddaughters also of Columbia, SC;  Mike and Linda Reynolds, brother and sister in law of Riverview, Florida;  Lorrie Decker, sister of Ellenston, Florida;  John Bertie, family friend of Ellenston, Florida;  Chris and Debbie Reynolds, brother and sister in law of Holly, NY; Carole Gallina, sister of Holly, NY; Larry and Pei Ling Slaughter, brother in law and sister in law of Moore, OK; Kevin and Linda Joyce, brother in law and sister in law of Petersburg, VA; Debra Padgett, sister in law of Chesterfield, VA; Delores Stewart, sister in law of Nassua, NY; William and Freddie Overby, special family friend of Chesterfield, VA; Jenny Fisher, special family friend of Richmond, VA; Lena Fehling, close friend of Matawan, NJ. A Memorial Service will be held in Catherine’s Honor at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E.
